A ministry of Swallow’s Nest Ministries – Southeast Asia

B.E.A.R. Training or Biblical Equipping And Revival Training, is an annual 15 week long training program for rural local pastors and leaders run at the Gethsemane House of Prayer and taught by leaders of Swallow’s Nest Ministries – Southeast Asia.  Founded in February 2017, B.E.A.R. Training has successfully run two trainings and has graduated over 30 students, many of whom are now either serving or pastoring local churches.  B.E.A.R. Training operates completely on a Pay-What-You-Can policy and most students, coming from impoverished backgrounds, often pay with vegetables and rice.

Each week consists of four days of solid biblical teaching, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening.  On Wednesday, students are led out onto the streets by leaders of Swallow’s Nest Ministries – Southeast Asia to go on outreach and put into practice what they are learning in the classroom.  In addition to the B.E.A.R. Training schedule, the students are expected to fully participate in the daily lifestyle of the Gethsemane House of Prayer including all evening worship events, all morning devotionals, and our Saturday church service.  We believe that the marriage of solid biblical teaching with regular evangelistic outreaches while living in the atmosphere of 24/7 prayer and worship cultivates pastors and leaders who are passionate about the gospel, the Word, prayer, worship, missions, and loving Jesus to the fullness of what He deserves.
